Seabrook Island's Sister, Kiawah Island, Ranked #2 Island in the World

I just read the results of the CondeNaste Readers Poll for 2014 and though there were some surprises in the favorite destinations worldwide amongst the nearly 1,000,000 votes from highly experience travelers, I was not at all surprised to see that Kiawah Island in South Carolina was ranked as the #2 island in the world and #1 in the United States.

That said, it is a remarkable achievement when you consider it ranked above magical places such as Bora Bora, Moorea, the Great Barrier Reef and Islands and even Maui and Kauai here in the US. I say that I am not surprised as I have spent considerable time in Charleston and the barrier islands of Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island, which are contiguous "sister" islands located only 20 miles from Charleston. It is, as one million voters agreed, a place that feels “like you are world away”.

It is wonderful to see this area get the attention it deserves. Given that one of our company’s offerings, LifestyleOne, owns a grand resort home at Seabrook Island — surrounded by all of the magic that caused seasoned travelers to rank this area as the #1 island in the United States — it is also very rewarding to know that Lifestyle Asset Group chose for LifestyleOne, LLC a destination coveted by anyone who has visited this fabulous destination.

With additional resort and city residences in St John, USVI, which was ranked the #8 island in the world by the same CondeNaste survey and New York City, everyone’s perennial favorite city, it is apparent that LifestyleOne’s destinations are located in very special places.

With Maui, Los Cabos and Lake Tahoe next in queue for LifestyleOne, the value of membership in the LLC, holding an ownership interest in this collection of vacation home assets and enjoying their leisure and vacation time in any and all of these locations, would seem to be very compelling.
